Spouse Tour of Mission Concepción and Lunch at Casa Rio

Join other TSCRA spouses for a fun and educational tour of one of the oldest missions in San Antonio.
Tour participants will travel by bus to Mission Concepción, the oldest unrestored stone church in the U.S. Established in 1716, the mission is designated as a National Historic Landmark and United Nations World Heritage Site and bears significant architectural and cultural significance. Experience the strength of the friars who Christianized the Indians and view the original frescos still visible within the rooms of the mission.
The group will also enjoy a relaxing lunch at Casa Rio. Guests will be welcomed by delicious, fresh, mexican food served along the beautiful San Antonio River Walk. With its large, colorful umbrellas and natural beauty, Casa Rio is one of the most photographed places in San Antonio.
