President Trump and the Economy: How will one affect the other?

By April 1, the Trump administration will have been in place for 10 weeks. From international trade and domestic energy to immigration and healthcare, the new administration will act on countless policy priorities.

How President Donald Trump and his new administration responds to these policy questions will set the trajectory for the U.S. and global economy for generations to come. What are the near- and long-term growth prospects for the U.S. economy? How will key federal policy choices in taxes, entitlements, financial sector regulation, general regulatory policy and the decisions of the Federal Reserve impact consumers?

Holtz-Eakin will bring the American Action Forum’s practical and sensible approach to an analysis of how President Trump and the myriad global and domestic economic factors will affect one another and our prosperity.
